Sorry for not updating yesterday... I had my very LAST final paper to write... and now that I'm all done, I have NOTHING left to do for my college career (except for the actual graduation ceremony)... yippeee! Now that that's good and done with, let's begin our update!

This Food Network Challenge takes five cake-chefs and flies them out to Walt Disney World where they compete to make the best "villain cake," which is a cake that is based on a Disney villain! There will be two huge DVDs released on this date... first up: The Suite Life of Zack and Cody: Sweet Suite Victory. This DVD will include four episodes, as well as some behind-the-scenes footage. Hey guys-
I've got a final exam today at 4, so I have to keep it short! To begin with, here's a little something I read this morning that I'm excited for...except for the fact that it'll cost around $3,000-$7,000!! The Times did a piece in their newspaper yesterday about Tinker Bell and never-seen-before sketches that have just been uncovered. These sketches will be added to a book, Disney Opus, which is projected to be released in October of next year. This Opus, written by Kraken Opus, will include many never-seen-before sketches, even ones that Walt Disney drew in his childhood. I, myself, would love to get my hands on a copy of this book, but it'll cost me an arm and a leg to pay for it! Click here for the complete article.

Speaking of Vintage Disney, Matterhorn1959 has posted a few black and white pictures of Disneyland that were taken at the end of 1955. Did anyone catch the MTV Movie Awards last night? Besides Sara Silverman's HI-LARIOUS opening monologue (which I would recommend that you check out if you're over the age of 13), High School Musical's Zac Efron was a presenter for the Best Movie category, which didn't show up until the very END of the awards show. MAIN STREET AMERICA. Sound familiar? Probaly because it is almost the same, exact name as Disney's MAIN STREET U.S.A.. Plans have just been announced that the Axiom Entertainment of Rochester is planning on developing a $106 million theme park aptly titled Main Street America. Supposedly, they have nothing to do with Disney, but I could only speculate as to how they might be just another theme park, trying to make some money off of a certain Disney likeness... hmmmm... Here is a bit of exciting news for those of you who are amateur movie-makers, like myself! PIXAR, along with Escape Studios, is planning on releasing ANIMATION TOOLS that will help educate the public on how to use RENDERMAN, which is what PIXAR uses on their animation. Today marks the first day of June... and you know what that means! That's right! The new DISNEY ADVENTURES is out! I actually picked my own copy up last week, but now that it's June, you can now start using the calendar, and all the dates finally make sense! This issue, like May's issue, is another movie issue. There are articles, and exclusive interviews, pertaining to Ratatouille, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Shrek 3, and Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board!! As it advertises on the cover, this is the ULTIMATE PIRATES issue with a few multipaged spreads! In this issue, there is also a fantastic reading list; today, I actually bought one of the books, Vampirates, and it seems quite interesting so far. So pick up your own own June issue today!
When you were little, what images came to mind when you thought about your grandma? Although everyone is different, I'm guessing when you think about Grandma, you think of fresh-baked cookies, love, and warmth in a cozy, little house. Well, The Daily Mail is reporting that DISNEY Villains are giving children negative images about "the elderly". No offence to the Daily Mail, but NEVER in my life have I ever connected the image of Cruella DeVil to the thought of my sweet, precious grandma and her MahJong-playing friends.
